On Monday, February 3, close to 50 professionals gathered in Downtown San Jose to mingle and make connections at the Catholic Community Foundation’s Advisor Networking Event. Advisors from various stages of their careers and industries networked with peers and made new connections. Estate planning, tax, wealth management, and insurance industries were all represented.
The event was sponsored by Berliner Cohen and Morgan Stanley. Dan Soares represented his and Greg Vaughan’s Morgan Stanley practice (the 545 Group in Menlo Park) and Brandon Rebboah represented Berliner Cohen where he is a Partner. Dan, Brandon and Mary Quilici Aumack, CEO of the Foundation, gave a brief presentation during the event about philanthropy and the Foundation’s services.
The Foundation’s Advisor Steering Committee, a group of professionals who partner closely with the Foundation, was well represented at the event and played a key role in inviting their peers who weren’t familiar with the Foundation’s work. The mixture of new introductions and old friends reconnecting created a good buzz in the room.
The Foundation provides resources for advisors and their clients who are interested in charitable giving now and in their estate plans.
